Elliott Heder was born and raised in Iowa to a family of Bosnian heritage. His family immigrated to the United States as refugees following the Bosnian War. Elliott's father, Budo, started from zero and became a respected and successful business owner. Growing up in a household shaped by resilience, entrepreneurship, and community, Elliott developed an early passion for business combined with his love of the gaming and entertainment industries.
Today, Heder is an entrepreneur, brand marketing executive, and media personality with more than a decade of experience across global entertainment and video game industries.
He is the Founder & CEO of CrewDino, a personal brand he launched at the age of 18. Through CrewDino, Heder has built an audience of more than 250,000 fans across major platforms. He produces branded video content and livestreams that reach millions of viewers worldwide. Through this brand, he offers various services such as consulting and advisory work, as well as strategic partnerships with leading gaming and entertainment companies. A longtime Twitch Partner, he has spent over a decade entertaining audiences with his chill-chats, retro gaming, and community-driven events. In addition to all this, he owns and operates a family-owned boutique specializing in Japanese animation and video game collectibles.
Due to his successes with his own endeavors, Elliott worked for some of the most iconic brands such as SEGA, Nintendo, Sony, Crunchyroll, VIZ Media and Nexon. His notable works include managing global brand marketing and community strategy for beloved franchises like Pokémon and Naruto, guiding innovative efforts to connect and expand fan bases that resulted in increases in engagement as high as 1300%, and leading some of the world’s best teams in various disciplines such as social media, community, marketing, customer service, and creative.
From fostering communities for popular MMO games like MapleStory and Phantasy Star to directing long-term marketing strategies for globally recognized franchises like Super Mario, Persona, Street Fighter, My Hero Academia, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Sailor Moon, and Dragon Ball, Elliott’s career is defined by a passion for connecting audiences with the brands they love.
Beyond owning his own business and corporate leadership roles, he was a Professional Broadcaster & Player for the Pittsburgh Knights and graduated from Mount Mercy University with a Bachelors in Communication.
